And by "outline" they actually mean the font. Just have a look at the outline, you'll never see its shape changed. Circle bubbles in wow ? No way.

What the bubbles being one line until moused over? That's not a font change, that's altering the way they behave.

Since you seem to insist that they're a part of the 3D world, how are they so? They don't increase the size of your hit box. They don't stop you from moving through them. You pretty much can't interact with them in any way. They just pop up on the screen. That's a UI element, like an overhead health bar, not a part of the world.

You definately should ask your questions to any wow modders community, as I took the time to do it before risking any statement.

So you looked into it, but somehow failed to notice the chat bubble mods out there for WoW? I've defended my stance that chat bubbles are moddable. It's your turn to defend how they're not.

I voted yes of course (being an avid roleplayer) but I would go one step further and say they should also be toggled off by default and players who want them should have to go into the UI options and turn them on.

mods = cheats, no thanks

As long as I never see chat bubbles I am fine with the option for those that do want them.
