aldmeri here. i got lucky as aldmeri was my first choice then as my friends all got into the game they also choose aldmeri without knowing my choice. i was a bit nervous they might pick ebonheart which is the one i least want to be.

Ebonheart Pact.

For me its mostly about philosophy. EP is about liberty and freedom. Their main motivation for fighting seems to be, "just leave us alone." And that's something I can get behind. AD is about Domiantion. They are authoritarians. They may not be as bad as the Thalmor (basically Nazis), but they're at least WWI Germany. The DC is basically capitalist Imperialsim. They want to impose order on other nations for their own financial benefit.

Also I find the races in the Ebonheart Pact to be the most interesting lore-wise. Aldmeri Dominion is also quite interesting though.

Altmer Templar, pure heals/support. Going to get beaten down first in pvp, but not before my teammates have taken some of them with me.

The Ebonheart Pact. Nords are favorite race. The Argonians and Black Marsh have always interested me, and then there's the Dunmer.
