Okay, this thread is simple: Which faction will you fight for and WHY?

Myself, I will be fighting for the EbonHeart Pact. Not because of any ideaology or anything, I just want to play as an Argonian, go to Black Marsh or Cyrodil, swim underwater and (if possible) leap out with a large jump and attack unwary travelers.

I'll be in the Daggerfall Covenant but only because I want to play a Breton

Ebonheart because I love Nords and our little group all decided to play there.

elves are the coolest, wood elves for me best archers in game + stealth and sneaking. love that style of play. i loved AD from the beginning i readed it high elves + wood elves <3 kajit is not my thing but its cool

As it happens I RP a breton spellsword (bladesinger) and a redguard thief.

I do think at L50 you should unlock the ability to play a race in your main's alliance that isnt naturally in it. Or maybe after doing some epic quest or finding holocrons and unlocking you characters hidden potential you could unlock a new race in your alliance for your next character.

i'm not really an alt player in rpg's/mmo's i stick to 1 character and max that out to the MAX

How are we supposed to get to tatooine to find the holocrons?

I will fight for the pact as a Nord on my main. I will be doing almost no roleplay on the main but I will have Breton and High Elf roleplay alts.

Aldmeri Dominion or Ebonheart Pact.

There is only one real choice here, and that is the Grand Aldmeri Dominion. Elves and Furballs UNITE!!!!

There's a million of these threads... And my answer hasn't been the same to all of them.

I'm pretty sure with my answer now though. Ebonheart Pack. For two major reasons:

1-) They have two of the three zones I have previously explored in TES games, and I want to see those places again.

2-) The Ebonheart Pack has the most diversity. A race of Men, a race of Mer and a race of beast-like humanoids. Whereas Daggerfall Covenant has two races of Men and a race of Mer, and Aldmeri Dominion has two races of Mer and a race of beast-like humanoids.

Think it'd be fair to lump Orcs in with the beast races, for the record. Whatever they used to be, there's not much merrish about them any more. That said, if we could swap them for Khajiit, that would be the most balanced, to me. Every faction gets a magey, warrior, and sneaky race, and the AD could technically call itself mer-only. Even though, according to TF, Argonians don't actually seem to get any sneaky bonuses.

When I do get this game (probably not at launch due to money) I will play as an Argonian as I do in every Elder Scrolls game, so Ebonheart Pact.

I will fight for me. I will fight for my guild mates if I'm in a guild. That's about the extent of how far I'm willing to go for any of the factions.

Yeah...kitties and all that sand in the DC zones.. no thanks.
