Lack of player collision is a silly choice and it coulda been innovated to a progressive formula like...

If a player tries to get past another player whos in the way, he can slowly move through him

-Or-

If a player wants to get past another player he can give him a little push to move out of the way, like the assassins in assassins creed do.

> Just another reason why ESO will be a short lived experience.

I will call this so called "strategy" an exploit. You are using ESO lack of CD to gave your team unfair advantage. I will be reporting such to the devs IF I see this exploit ingme . I don't really care if other games allow this or not, ESO should NOT allow this type of exploit.

It's only an exploit if it takes advantage of a bug. Lack of CD is not a bug, it's a feature (from the devs' point of view). Reporting it won't do you any good.

And, I think the idea is hilarious and don't really see any problem with it

that tactic (obviously not exploit) would simply lead to 100 group killing few and just after that they would be watched by some one. While being watched they would be just standing for nothing giving other Alliances opportunity to quickly attack and take over keep.

Just not much fun for big group to kill few and then stand for nothing and give other opportunity to win.

It doesn't really matter what you decide to call it...it's what Zenimax decides it is.

It is a viable tactic as far as I am concerned.

I would be surprised if ESO doesn't launch with some sort of over-the-head nameplate negating such a tactic. On the other hand, thanks to 'stealth' ESO will fully support armies standing in the middle of an empty field and being totally invisible. So there's that to look forward to.

There will be roaming death squads around cyrodill, and some solo nightblades sneaking around looking for easy targets... Then the wailing of unbalanced pvp will begin......

maybe an ambush emote should of won the emote contest, seeing a hundred peeps yelling boo at you from behind a tree would be awesomely funny.

Somehow I think the devs would have taken this into account.

Maybe a script that detects how long two or more people have stood on the same spot and pushes them apart after a few seconds.

Also, a decent area of effect attack would soon put a stop to the nonsense,

1. Not all of us feel that having to slowly waddle through people is good game design. The push mechanic is dumb in a game with hundreds of people in a battle.

2. :bonk:

I...disagree with that. Its a viable strategy imho, my point earlier in the thread was that this sort of thing won't work on smart people more than once. If a group wants to pack themselves behind a boulder or something, that's good strategy and teamwork, just as viable as any group of jackoffs locking arms in a phalanx and preventing passage with CD enabled.

100% this. Strong AOE will [censored] all over people clumping or zerging like brainless idiots.

There is army behind that tree all in one pile.

well, ~4++ stealthers with AoE capabilities can instakill prolly half of the players in one pile. IF they know what they r doing.

so zerg piles as ever, are a bad idea.

clearly its not an exploit, you may not like it but its in no way an exploit. you can make 10000 reports, it will not change a thing

Good teams will have scouts and a good deal of communication.

There are also players out there that have a knack finding or knowing where good points to have an ambush might tell one of the members to move to the ambush site after their teams stealth team moves into position.

The thing is that no large team is going to stay in one spot that long unless there is a good amount of traffic for them to get good amount of kills, If they have to share the xp of a single kill among 50 ambushers. I see that team go whats the point in waiting here when I can get real experience doing something else instead of waiting for a victim.

Second thing is that members that got ambushed will tell other teams in their faction to look out for ambushers in that sector.

Third thing, there will likely be a team or two that love hunting these types of players and sometimes giving them a taste of their own medicine.
