Scrapping mods?

Post » Thu Dec 03, 2015 6:05 am

Can you? Is it worth it?

Should I remove mods from armor before scrapping?

Weapons? Don't you have to spend resources to remove the mod.. so ... not worth it?

Depends on the mod. Some you can some you cannot. I always take off the top ones that have level 4 build requirements.

Attach mods to weapons/armor and then scrap them?

Or better yet use junk to mod weapons to up the value and sell on the market :D

No should I invest the time to take mods of armor and weapons to scrap the mods....?

but weapons seem to cost junk too unmod so is that a factor?

I always remove mods from armor before selling or stashing, rarely remove weapon mods due to cost. I equip found modded weapons to companions and settlers, particularly provisioners and guards.

Armor mods are free to remove. I remove them and plan to sell what I don't use, they go for more then the armor. Which I scrap.

Weapon, if needs lv3 perk or more I keep at least for now then it's pretty much scrap if I can get a screw out of it or sell if more then 20-30caps.

Removing mods from weapon costs you a ready made mod or ressources to make lowest tier mod, except for sights.

Are mods stackable? I haven't seen a mod being stacked in my workbensh/inventory, so i've no clue. :o

THey aren't stackable but if you find a high level mod it takes less to craft the standard replacement and then you can keep the highleveled mod for your own weapon or if you find a legendary version of it that you like

Well, but aren't u wasting tons of ressources if u unmount said mod and put it to ur other mods, but u didn't see u already had it and blub... all those ressources gone. U even wasted even more ressources building the standard mod.... pretty rediculous. :o
