Heya
So here's my problem - after 3 days and 18 hours worth of gameplay I've ran into trouble saving. Every time I manually save I get the following error message:
"there is not enough space in system storage.
to continue using the application, you must free up 10.65 MB more space.
to free up more space in system storage without closing system storage without closing the application, delete applications on the home screen, or delete video clips and screenshots in [capture gallery]."
Now here's what makes the message bizarre; I have just over 400GB of space left in system storage, as Fallout 4, it's saves, and the screenshots automatically taken when I get a trophy are the only things that are on the PS4. Regardless, when I first got this I went and deleted 2 quick saves I had, as well as the save I had left from when I first left vault 111, only leaving the last time I manually saved (2 levels and some awesome seriously awesome loot ago) and three auto-saves. This message did not change (including the amount of space it was asking me to delete). I have also tried turning the console off, as this first happened last night. In another bizarre twist, it seems as if the auto-saves were relatively recent, but this whole situation makes me wary of continuing to play until I can fix it.
The only thing I can think of that may be causing the issue is if, when the game states that my save file is save 157, it is stating that there is 157 save files. Bare in mind that every time I have manually saved I have done so over the same save file, and when I go to save/load there are only the four files I mentioned in the last paragraph. whether that is the issue or not system storage is reporting that I have plenty of space.
Doing some searching online, I've only found one post on the Sony forums reporting the issue, which has gone unanswered, and posts made by people who had a similar problem with downloading other games.
I'm also thinking of trying un-installing fallout and then re-installing it. If I did so would I lose my auto-saves and/or my other save file?
Thanks for reading, and hopefully I can get some help with this issue.
