Plea to the Developers

Yeah Niamh summed up what I meant nicely(and I agree, listening to Mr. Bergman talk about playing portal 2 or messing on his ipod can be annoying[although it is "his" twitter account]) It does take much to acknowledge our existence.

i think todd howard couldn't care less what's going on with NV at this point. i'm guessing "all" of his time is dedicated to skyrim...don't ya think?

and thats the problem... we already paid for nv and were going tobuy the dlc no matter what. its bethesda not obsidian... nv is better than fo3 but fo3 got more attention because it wasnt gettig pushed aside for newer games. remember how much media attention fo3 dlcs got? when the trailers came out? and we had much more news on them.... compared to dead money and honest hearts. id be willing to bet this has affected the sales of dead money and possibly new vegas itself... and id be willin to bet it will affect honest hearts as well... pete hines was talking in a recent bethesda podcast about how giving players information before the games come out....pete hines.... rage and skyrim have plenty of time to be hyped up... why ignore these dlcs, and in result your paying fans? the only news we have is its done and the name, no trailer, no release date , no explanation for why we have neither or when well get them, no news on the story or background and most importantly... what is holding these things back... it wouldnt take five minutes to give us a post at least explaining that...

If Bethesda did give us something on these boards, it would not be enough. Somebody, somewhere, would cry that we didn't get enough. And then fifty more people would jump on board with it.

People keep saying that even just a simple line such as: "We're working on it!" would be good enough, but if you look at ANY thread where we are told "soon" people are [censored]ing... oh, sorry, that word gets censored for some reason... I mean: *complaining* because all we got was something vague. "We're working on it," is exactly the same as: "We'll get you something soon!" It's just semantics.

No, I think the best thing that can happen is that Bethesda tells us NOTHING until the DLC is actually released.

Everybody just needs to settle the hell down and either grab a double handful of patience or go do something else while you're waiting.

I don't understand the claim that there isn't enough information. Devs have recently stated they are getting the patch out before releasing DLC. I think you are using the excuse of not enough information to make the demand of wanting more information. Wanting more information doesn't mean that adequate information wasn't already provided.

Calm down, they are working on it AND they have said as much.

yeah, they've said they're getting the patch out then the dlc... well, patch is out, so where is the dlc?

Look I know what Granite and Frank are saying is right, and I guess we are impatient, but it's only because lots of other companies run constant updates and human interaction, that you kind-of get to expect it from everyone. It gets annoying when it doesn't happen then. But yeah, patience, sure we'll hear something this week

Do you want to know what the next DLC is?

The DLC is everywhere.
It is all around us.
Even now, in this very room.
You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television.
You can feel it when you go to work... when you go to church... when you pay your taxes.
It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.

Whats truth you may ask...

That you are a slave.
Like everyone else you were born into bondage.
The DLC is a prison that you cannot taste or see or touch.
A prison, for your mind.

Yeah, they said that the store won't be back until the end of may, but playing games on psn and some other elements will be back in the next couple days.

[Mostly everything but the PS Store] That means to me means I can't buy HH when/ if it releases before the store is bact up!!!

Well. Sony got hacked once again. They announced that SOE got hacked yesterday morning (Tokyo time).
http://www.soe.com/securityupdate/pressrelease.vm

I would guess that Playstation Store might take a little more time to come up.

The personal information of the approximately 24.6 million SOE accounts that was illegally obtained, to the extent it had been provided to SOE, is as follows:

name
address
e-mail address
birthdate
gender
phone number
login name
hashed password.

In addition to the information above, the 10,700 direct debit records from accounts in Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Spain, include:

bank account number
customer name
account name
customer address.

SOE will grant customers 30 days of additional time on their subscriptions, in addition to compensating them one day for each day the system is down. It is also in the process of outlining a "make good" plan for its PlayStation?3 MMOs (DC Universe Online and Free Realms). More information will be released this week.

(controversial) They should release it anyway. I don't see why PC and xBox users have to suffer because some people have opted to buy it on PS3. Release it anyway, and PS3 owners can buy it if/when Sony get their act together.

There, I said it... :P
