I'm sure further DLC's will fix all doubts and inconsistancies.

Both Veronica and Christine were from the California chapter. Elijah allowed Veronica to come with him into the Mojave, while Christine stayed in the California Chapter. The BoS tasked Christine with killing Elijah. It became personal for her after he captured her in the Big Empty and preformed medical experiments on her.

You can mention Veronica to Elijah at the very end, in the vault, if you talked to Veronica after installing the DLC. He confirms his role in keeping Christine and Veronica separate.

My mistake.

You can mention Veronica to Elijah and he will remark that he's not surprised that she survived Helios One. Christine, when she's mute, will indicate that Elijah separated her from her girlfriend (she'll correct you if you say husband). When she gets a voice she again says that Elijah separated her from her lover, although she doesn't mention Veronica by name.

Since Christine is from the California chapter, and was forced to leave her girlfriend, its strongly implied, though not explicitly stated, that she and Veronica were a couple.

I'd provide links, but at the moment my internet svcks.

Bethesda and the US government.

Neither can confirm or deny anything. Ever.

What is mentioned in the 'game' though is that Elijah killed her lover.

That Veronica (who knows Elijah best) has no idea where he is at the present time.
(which runs against Christines story of Elijahs actions being known by her chapter..)

That the mojave isn't in California in NV. (the boundary markers are shown as nipton and below)

However its also stated that Veronica and Elijah came to the mojave chapter from elsewhere..

So all things considered I guess the evidence is pretty clouded tbh.
I guess I don't really think V is C's long lost lover because you don't ever get an option to tell Veronica about christine, only Elijah..

It's ludicrous to not assume that they were together. It's just an easter egg for the players, that's why it wasn't made a big deal in game. The evidence is sufficient enough. Don't know why you feel the need to contest the issue so ferociously.

I contest it because Veronica's dialogue options don't lead to the conclusion that Veronica and Christine were lovers. Sorry?

Its not clear that the courier knows they were a couple. Its hinted at, so 'in character' your courier may not have put the pieces together. You can't mention Veronica to Elijah until you've exhausted all of her dialogue options about where he went, even thought this is unecessay, given that you've probably heard his name many times. You can't mention Elder McNamara to Elijah either.

The courier doesn't read between the lines as well as you do.

I think the story changes based on who you ask. From V's point of view Christine left on her own, when really it was Elijah pulling her strings so V would go to the mojave with him.

I'm sorry I just don't see it that way?

Veronica says her lover was 'forced' out of the BoS because seeing as the BoS don't allow outsiders they're all expected to procreate. Veronica herself thought about leaving the brotherhood but in the end couldn't. Veronica talks to her ex lover about staying but in the end love wasn't enough.

I just don't see how this fits with Christines story, at all.

Whilst that would indeed make more sense, there is still the problem of V saying her lover left the BoS and Christine being 'sent' by the BoS to bring Elijah to justice..

Does it state that the BOS sent C?

I got the feeling she was out for personal vengance.

Like Sentient Surfer said, The Courier did not put two and two together. If either had been actually mentioned by name THEN maybe you would have the option to tell Veronica or Christine about the other. It is simply left up to the player to find this information out and make speculation.

Haha, I would hope so. Would definitely be cool if he had different reaction depending on your affiliation with The Legion or if Caesar is dead.

Nice work on getting the thread off topic on the second post.

Yeah... Very odd how it shifted into a debate about two lisbians from a discussion about the Burned Man. Anyway, I certainly hope Graham has unique responses depending on how we handled the "Caesar" situation.
