Probably not. You couldn't mention Veronica to Christine or Elijah.

They have "history"...

Nah uh, when you ask Veronica about her past, the woman she fell in love with 'left' the BoS...
Christine is a BoS Knight....

Simply because they are both lisbians doesn't mean they are lovers...

Edit: The wikia is updated by players which is both a blessing and a curse as it can be very informative but it is also quite often wrong or based on a players presumptions. ;)

If I'm not mistaken I think Christine's "dialoge" nods to this.

I'll try to find evidence in the vault, hang on.

What is mentioned in the 'game' though is that Elijah killed her lover.

That Veronica (who knows Elijah best) has no idea where he is at the present time.
(which runs against Christines story of Elijahs actions being known by her chapter..)

That the mojave isn't in California in NV. (the boundary markers are shown as nipton and below)

However its also stated that Veronica and Elijah came to the mojave chapter from elsewhere..

So all things considered I guess the evidence is pretty clouded tbh.
I guess I don't really think V is C's long lost lover because you don't ever get an option to tell Veronica about christine, only Elijah..

I'd just like to point out that, although 'The Vault is full of lots of information including actual facts and statistics taken from the G.E.C.K. etc. It's also player-updated and contains quite a lot of things that are player speculation...

When Veronica and her lover were split up, her lover was sent to another chapter. Which'd explain why Christine was in the California chapter.

And I don't remember Christine saying Elijah killed her lover.

Yeah you maybe right.

I guess we will just have to wait untill Big MT to see, as Christine passed through whille tracking down Elijah.

Possible that each thinks the other is dead?

I know this because I just recently did a fresh hardcoe run and saw this like 2 days ago.. (hence it still being fresh in my mind)

Right and I'm pretty sure Christine has no ties to the brotherhood when you find her half-dead in an auto-doc.

Granted, although I'm also pretty sure that she goes after Elijah after she hears of his deeds etc.. which would mean she 'was' still a part of the BoS up to the point that Elijah fumbles the Helios situation? Which also contradicts the information V gives about her lover leaving the brotherhood..

Both Veronica and Christine were from the California chapter. Elijah allowed Veronica to come with him into the Mojave chapter, while Christine stayed in the California Chapter. The BoS tasked Christine with killing Elijah. It became personal for her after he captured her in the Big Empty and preformed medical experiments on her.

You can mention Veronica to Elijah at the very end, in the vault, if you talked to Veronica after installing the DLC. He confirms his role in keeping Christine and Veronica separate.

Elijah and Veronica came from California to the Mojave together. Elijah led the team of BoS members that went towards Hoover Dam. There was no 'Mojave Chapter' before Elijah arrived there. He took a group of Brotherhood members towards the Mojave to occupy Hoover Dam. The other Elders allowed him to take Veronica with him, as Veronica specifically mentioned him clearing it with them somehow.

They stopped at Helios One along the way because Elijah wanted to examine it. Then they got word the NCR occupied the Dam, which made Elijah furious, calling it 'children playing with a bomb'. Eventually the NCR arrived at Helios One as well and slaughtered most of the Brotherhood there and then. McNamara stepped up and led a surviving group of members including Veronica into the desert, towards Hidden Valley. There they settled at their bunker and installed the lockdown.

The contradiction is indeed that Veronica says Christine left the Brotherhood back in California, while Christine is mad at Elijah for seperating her and her lover. It could be, however, that Christine decided to return to the Brotherhood after leaving them, only to find Veronica was already taken to be Mojave by Elijah.

I have seen the bit of dialogue were Veronica tells the courier how she pleaded with her lover not to leave the BoS but in the end love wasn't enough. I guess thats what has had me hung up about the whole Christine and Veronica thing.

If there is indeed dialogue where Elijah confirms that Veronica and Christine were indeed lovers, then I guess its just another anomalous contradiction :S
