So I was listening to the TV and heard this and thought it was interesting.

Basically there is this really rare type of dwarfism that stops growth hormones, and that would be a way to stop cancer or something like that. It was apparently successful with mice, and the TV said that they are beginning clinical studies. This scientist has also been working on this for 20 years.

Thoughts? Will it just be another debunked 'cure', or possibly a start to a solution.

Hopefully this is finally the cure. I lost both of my grandparents on my dads side to cancer and I don't want to go though that again, nor would I want anyone else.

There are so many of these possible cures for cancer. I understand very little about cancer, but from what I know there are many many different types and a treatment for one is rarely usable for another.
