Is it practical to perk in two weapon styles?

Basically I'm dabbling in 1-H, Block, Heavy Armor, and Smithing. Don't have much use for anything else, but I also know I'm gonna have some spare perks... Is it practical to have two fighting styles?

Not really, no. It will just end up making both of them weaker.

If you have spare perks you could put them in alchemy to make more powerful health potions or poisons.

Depends on what two skills IMO. For me it's One-handed weapons (daggers for me) and archery. if you're running a warrior though just stick to one.

I'm going for 1h + Shield and Archery. No problem with it. Sure you won't level up both of them quickly, but who cares ;)
