Pre-order worth it?

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 1:04 am

Hello fellow skyrim fans, i'm dead excited for skyrim but i'm just curios, should i pre-order it? Me living in scotland means that the delivery may be late, or early! you can never tell up here -.- but i do not want to risk it, i could easily get it from my nearest shop when it does come out but that does not mean i get the cloth map :( what should i do? take the risk of being 1 day late but getting9 a cool cloth map or buying it in store and getting a normal, paper map?

It's not really cloth. It's texturized to be like burlap. Anyway if you don't wanna wait for the game then why risk it?

I skipped the preorder for 3 reasons:

1) A reasonable chance that I'll be able to get my hands on the game early, and an even more reasonable chance that it will come in at least by midnight EST.

2) So I can get my hands on a box.

3) Because it's cheaper buying the box than making a Steam purchase. Which you'd think is rubbish, seeing as how digital distribution is a lot cheaper. But well. I guess it's like the whole cheque vs credit card thing, huh?

Which is more important to you: Getting the game on time or having a cloth map?

I can create a flowchart if you think it'll help you with this decision.

This. It's more like rough paper.
