As title.

I preordered the game but gamestop doesn't sent me the anarchy edition, I have the "normal edition" now.
Do you think that the bonus offered from the anarchy edition will improve rage a lot? Should I return my copy to own the anarchy edition?

Thanks.

You're not missing much, a buggy, gloves, armour and a gun. BUT if you paid of the Anarchy Edition, you should totally get it.

Thats odd , I pre ordered my copy and my friend went to Game Stop in person on the 5th to buy a copy and all Game Stop had was the Anarchy Edition on the rack . My Brother in Law just went down to another GS in another City and it was the same thing there . I wonder how your store ended up with regular copies anyways ? Maybe you live in a really small town or something ?

Yeah, if it said anarchy edition that's what you should have gotten, if it were me i'd probably say something. In all reality though the items aren't too too useful, the most useful may be the double barrel shotgun, but i prefer the combat shotgun, which you get pretty early in the game. The other items i've already replaced with better ones, and i'm not even far into the game yet (at least i don't think so). Basically the items may give you some benefit when the game first starts but that's it.

Screw that! I would want the anarchy edition. No sewers for you right? Or do you get them? I would go to a Gamestop and see if you can trade.

I pre-ordered standard edition, but Bethesda put out a video saying pre-orders would get a free upgrade to anarchy edition, so that's what I was expecting, and I didn't get it.

No you still get the sewers with the standard.

Like someone else said, Id see if you can trade it in for an anarchy copy and GS. I guess you'll need proof of the preorder. As far as content, the main thing is youre missing the sewer missions. As far as the other stuff. The armor is decent, but doesnt make you super powerful. It does give you all the skillsets as opposed to choosing one. I dont use the gloves. The sawed off double barrel shotgun is handing for destroying mutants in the face. The car you get seems faster than others, but maybe thats just me. And it looks cool. All in all though Id just worry about the sewer missions for the extra content. The other stuff you can live without.

Hi,
my "normal edition" has the swere edition mission, I have a code to add this addon in steam inside the box.

I've been considering purchasing the game, but have so far been put off due to the fact that the world while vivid, and pretty looking is quite linear and blocked off in many many areas one could've potentially explored (I've been watching a number of my friends live stream it starting from beginning to later parts). So I am holding off for the promised SDK tools to be released before I purchase it. This being said, at my local Best Buy there a number of copies of the Anarchy Edition sitting there waiting to be bought.

From what I've read though, normal players do get the sewers and just miss out on the fists, buggy, armor, and I think a shotgun of some sort? The only people missing out on the sewers are the people (mostly console players) who buy the game second hand.

Spiked Knuckles (you'll never punch anything, you'll just use your gun-butt)
Double Barrel Shotgun (usefull ONLY on the first mission, if you're a total nub)
Extra Car (probably useful in multiplayer - looks ugly IMO, the buggy is SO much more 'apocalyptic' and awesome)
Sewer missions - cool if you like smashing mutants for 3 or 4 rooms, no biggie, and the loot you get, you could just as easily go kill random punks in the garage for cash and buy the "rewards"

not sure else what the anarchy pack did - but if you want your "hand" models to have little iron-spike knuckles then you'll want it, otherwise kinda does nothing.
