Preventing Serana from EVER wearing her hood. Possible?

If so, I would like advice on how to do this.

I noticed that if I give her any other piece of armor than her custom one, she'll wear her hood 24/7 indoors and out.

This happened to me, too, but it was the other way around. I gave her items inside when she had no hood, and now she refuses to wear it outdoors....

I got this too, but she went back to hood-wearing after the next Fast-travel.

Although, you just gave me an idea. I'll try it soon.

Edit2: OMG It worked. I think I love you. I gave her whatever I want her to wear indoors with no hood, and now she's hoodless! Wootcakes. Let's hope its permanent.

I'd like to try this too, but let me get this straight, do I need to give her headgear while we're inside or armor or what? And then I just take it off her and we go on our merry way not wearing headgear 'cause it's all quite fugly?

My Serana won't take off Cicero's hat. If you really want to change it, try that.

Be warned though, as I think it's freaky.

No. Just give her ANY armor indoors (as long as she's not wearing her hood).

She'll keep the hood off even outdoors. I currently have her wearing Vampire Armor, it's 3pm and she has no hood on.

Yeah, I stumbled upon this when equiping her with forsworn armor next to the Windhelm blacksmith. I improved it past her Royal Vampire armor (so she would wear it), and she put it on. Went inside my house in Hjierm and she wouldn't take the hood off. Looks veeerrrry strange.

Smithed foresworn armor. Went to Hjierm and equipped her with forsworn inside the house with her hood down. Now she never wears the hood because you equip her with new gear inside, when she is not wearing the hood. If you equip armor when she has the hood up, she seems to always have the hood up.

Yeah. I much rather her have no hood at all. Besides if I ever want to make her wear a hood, I just give her a dark brotherhood hood.

She wears the hood outside and the circlet I gave her inside for me. Idk if it's because it's not armor orwhat

I gave her the ancient falmer armor and she doesn't wear the hood at all, but I think it might be because I gave her the armor indoors.

Yeah, it is. Take it back and go outdoors!

I love the way that armor looks with the hood.
