Oh Primary Attributes, how I miss you!

Is anyone else finding the lack of primary attributes a bit penalizing?

From what I understand, they removed so that you could just up your (formerly secondary) attributes of Magicka, Health, and Stamina because that's what the previous attributes did. But they did a lot more than that!

Agility - Affects total Fatigue, ranged damage, and how often you are staggered by being hit.

Endurance - Affects total Fatigue, starting Health, Health gain on leveling up.

Intelligence - Affects total Magicka.

Luck - Affects everything you do.

Personality - Affects your Speech and Mercantile skills.

Speed - Affects how fast you move.

Strength - Affects your total Fatigue, Encumbrance, and melee damage.

Willpower - Affects Magicka regeneration and total Fatigue.

I know perks do a lot of what the skills also helped with.

Tell me what you guys think and what you'd like to see in the future.

Not a bit , not really .... I find it extremely penalizing look at how vampires and werewolves are forced to jump like humans and you cant even jump that much you can not even jump when running ....

Do tell, what does jumping have to do with attributes?

Removing attributes was a mistake. Character development feels far too simple now that everything is so reliant on perks.

You can add back in with mods... I had thought of this but I figured it wouldn't be possible as part of the fundamental game engine. However, I don't honestly know about modding too much. You, Sir, have made my freakin' day!

PS - I don't think it made the game any more or less simple. I feel like they took something out to add it back in a different form with slightly more customization in a different package. I just want my old package with the new insides of perks too... But what do they say about eating cake and having it too?
