360 user by the way, I haven't been able to finish this quest for some time now, and figured this update may repair this broken quest.

As soon as I get within 40 feet of the objective I fall into water, or the luminescent green path is not there, and when I finally find some way to get to the objective, there's either an invisible wall blocking me from entering that circular transportation area, or there is a non-existent floor..

Suffice it to say, I've been having many problems with this quest and would REALLY like to finish it, I believe it's for the College of Winterhold, and I've been quite eager to pursue Magicka in Skyrim..

Has anyone else had this experience or know any way around this...?

Yeah I've done that......I'm now in the Dwemer ruins of Blackreach, and THAT'S where I'm having the problem.

I dont want to spoil but there is an important item you get once you complete that objective, which is needed for Main Quest so I hope you can do this?

That's the thing, I got the Elder Scroll from that area, but as I tried to return, it locks me out with these glitches.

The objective area either turns into an ocean or invisible walls keep me from advancing.

it says that to advance to the second part of the quest you need to be lvl 15

can you get up to the control panel? The lexicon is that cube there which you put in, and now you have to take it out (not from the circular area in the bottom)

Right, so here's the thing, after I fight the Dwarven Centurion, I place the circular or cubic piece into its receiver, and a circular stairway leads into Blackreach, this is the area that I'm having problems in, certain areas won't load and the lift doesn't work.

As I said previously, I've done the mission to retrieve the Elder Scroll, but on my second time through, Blackreach is broken.

And by the way, I can't get too anolytical as to the literal steps I've taken, I'm on my lunch at work haha, not in front of my screen, sadly.

yeesh. so when you go into black reach, you can't get to the building which houses the machine?

Exactly, it's blocked off by an invisible wall.

I have the Elder Scroll. It sent me back to Blackreach. It does seem broken because I killed everything once, but when I went back again, stuff was alive again. Not everything, but much of it. Is there another place in Blackreach I have to go to use the sphere? I used the cube and solved that puzzle... but I don't know what to do next. I just need to know if the quest is broken or if I'm missing something down there. I spent three hours looking. I found all 30 crimson nirnroots which got me nothing either. Went to the lady's house and she was sad... but didn't say anything about my 30 fricking roots...

I'm puzzled and a little disappointed in my inability to move on. Help please?

I completed the main quest but I seem to be missing the lexicon or whatever i need to activate the switch. Not sure what to do at this point./
