Has anyone else had issues giving adopted children thing? No matter what I try to give them it says that it is too heavy to carry. I see the items in the inventory that comes up when you try to do this but they are not hi- lited and when I select them anyways it says too heavy to carry. I first tried dolls and dresses that were 2 lbs, and certain books at 1 lb, and eventually went with the lightest thing I could find to give, a sweet roll at .1 lb, and it still says too heavy to carry. Minor annoyance but does anybody have suggestions? I'm level 68 and have completed all main and radiant quests except the high level magic quests. Just looking for things to do now while I wait for new DLC. Thanks.

this is known bug for Sophie.

Before little Sofie becomes you're daughter she is considered a merchant.She often has several hundred flower baskets in her inventory.

if on a PC,open console and target miss Sofie and type resetinventory or target command dropallitems ,hit enter.this will reset her inventory to a newly adopted child.She may(if using the latter command) drop 1 flower basket that is actually a stack of several hundred baskets.
If you're on a console I'm not sure the bug can be removed.


not totally sure but I believe children have 70 HP and a carry weight of 60
