Problem when ALT-Tabbing

Post » Thu Jan 10, 2013 4:42 pm

I have an issue where my mouse pointer and the ingame cursor get "out of sync" after I ALT-Tab and then come back to the game.

It basically requires me to restat the game once this happens.. Anyone know what causes this or how to avoid this?

Thanks,

Not alt-tabbing is a pretty sure way to avoid it too.

Alt-Tab has issues with just about every game in existence. This is not uncommon nor something to be overly concerned about.

Go to the properties for TESV.exe and click on the compatability tab. Tick the "Disable visual themes".

If for some reason it doesn't work, you should just open the game menu before alt-tabbing - it usually prevents the Windows cursor from appearing.

The methods outlined in this thread and the one linked will work. However, just know, that for some people, on some systems, Alt Tabbing is not a good thing to do.

For sure, make sure you save before you Alt Tab out of the game.
