Problem with mannequins..

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 5:24 pm

I seem to be having a problem with mannequins not being where I placed them. I would set them in a room and when I arrive to inspect them they are a few feet away from where I placed them. They are not facing north, nor are they acting alive. No matter where I place them they are never at that exact spot. Aside for not being where they should be they work fine. Anyone have any ideas what’s going on?

few things

1. there is no navmesh directly under the mannequins feet
2. you have way too many "cell load" objects in your cell (bookcases, mannequins, and weapon racks)
3. the vanilla mannequin script is really only good for a couple of mannequins total, in any given cell (uses OnCellLoad which is very unreliable when multiple scripts fire at once)

After reading your post I went back and checked the navmesh. I had it right up the mannequin's feet. I just moved it over a bit and that fixed it. Thanks for the help.
