Problem with the Cowboy Perk

Whenever I leveled up to level 8 I was able to select the Cowboy Perk even though I do not have 45 melee or 45 explosive, the cowboy perk seems to be the only one I can do this with.

Likely one of your mods that alter perks likely one of the CCO perks plugins.

The original intent of the mod author was to allow the player to either have 45 in explosives or 45 in melee weapons, where as in the vanilla game the Cowboy perk requires 45 in melee weapons.

Ok so I went into FNVedit:

- CCO - Perk Rebalance.esp

-- Perk

--- Cowboy

By reading the tables I notice on the vanilla game, under conditions, it said Greater than or equal to. However on the CCO edits it said Greater than or equal to/OR for Guns, Explosives and Melee. Noticing this I changed all the CCO edits to match the vanilla edits and rebooted a save then leveled to 8 and it fixed my issue, however now it requires me to have 45 in melee weapons and explosives.

Everything is alright now.

I went back into FNVedit and changed the CCO edits for the Cowboy perk to say

Explosives condition to Greater than or equal to/OR

Melee Weapons condition to Greater than or equal to

Guns condition to Greater than or equal to

Reloaded the game, used the console to increase my explosive skill to 45, leveled up and I was able to select the Cowboy perk. ( I did the same thing with melee weapons)

I then reloaded the game and didn't use the command console to edit either skil and was not able to select it.

So all in all, my problem was a simple editing error.
