Problem with vendors

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 5:47 am

I have a problem. i have crafted dragon armor and upgraded it and it will sell to a vendor for 1850. Only problem is the most I've seen any vendor carry is 1100. Does anyone know of a vendor who has enough money?

Vendors becoming completely useless on some game point. They have no money to buy your stuff and they sell garbage (calling them "treasures" lol). There's a problem in fixing this also, because if they will have more money and will be able to buy lots of things from you - you will be a richman in no time: craft things, improve them, enchant them, sell. With high speechcraft And where should we spend also this gold anyway?

I think speechcraft is also pretty useless, besides maybe social perks like intimidate and persuade. Though I haven't tried investing in vendors - don't know it's one-time possibility or you can invest numerous times so will have loads of gold.

up ur speechcraft so vendors have more money . but that's the problem with these type of games. they never sell anything I really want or need as I find better things looting so it's kinda pointless . they should sell things u can't find in the world. unique weapons and armor that's a one off or something

You have to define "winning" somehow. By my definition you've won.

Speechcraft is a huge boon to thief type characters as eventually you can sell stolen goods to any merchant you invest in. So more moneys AND more convenient turn-arounds.

Well, and where you will spend your money? There's nothing of value that you can buy from vendors, almost, besides maybe some grand soul gems or ingots if you leveling crafts. BTW can someone invest in one vendor multiple times? For example I gave him 500 gold 10 times - will he have 5000 gold permanently after that?
