currently running at 2650x1440 @ 60fps with 2xaa,

all i did was download cat 11.10 preview 2 and change steam steam startup options to force 8k textures and 4xaf.

2x 6950 slightly oc'd
8bg 1333mhz ram
120gb ssd
xonar xense sound card

i don't know if i'm just lucky but its running perfect and looks awesome.. after hearing all the horror stories im happy i stuck with my pre-order in the uk..

How do you make it run with 8k textures??

On a high-end graphics card you can also change the size of the texture cache in video memory. However, this may not work on video cards that do not have enough memory (like 512 MB) or you may see a significant drop in performance.
The size of the texture cache can be changed by adding the following to the RAGE launch options in Steam:

+vt_pageImageSizeUnique 8192
+vt_pageImageSizeUniqueDiffuseOnly 8192
+vt_pageImageSizeUniqueDiffuseOnly2 8192

NOTE: When adding multiple settings to the RAGE launch options in Steam please put them all on the same line separated by spaces.

Does that turn achievements off?
