I am using a HIS Radeon HD 6950 2gb version card on win7-64bit. I currently have catalyst 11.9 installed with the newest rage performance drivers. The game gets passed the opening FMV, however, after the fmv the game stutters horribly and locks up making it unplayable. On Catalyst 11.8 I could at least move around but with constant stuttering and really bad texture pop-in. What if any status updates on a fix for my setup are there? Any suggestions...?

yeah i have the 6970, my game doesnt lock up or crash or anything like that, it simply gets bad texture load ins and horrible frame rates, a 500$ video card should not have any issues, the only games it has problems with are bethesdas.

Its funny how everyone says Bethesda instead of ID. ID is not Bethesda. They are still two separate developers. ID has its team and Bethesda has theirs. I know its confusing because you see the Bethesda logo roll out first on the game start up, but the only reason that's there is because of business arrangements. Its not like the people who worked on The Elder Scrolls were involved in making RAGE or anything.
