Problems with IgnoreFriendlyHits

Ok, so I'm having a little bit of a problem with the IgnoreFriendlyHits function for some reason. In my mod, I can bring a corpse to a necromancer altar and with it, I can create a skeleton, a wraith, a rotting zombie, or an undead thrall (similar to the spell). With the first three, IgnoreFriendlyHits works property I can forever beat on my minions and they won't attack back. These are created by spawning an actor that I created at the player's location whereas the undead thrall is resurrected though scripting. With the undead thrall, my test subject, Sven from Riverwood, attacks immediately back after the first hit. I've set him to be an ally with the player, set him as a teammate, set up a quest where the player can give orders to him, set his aggression to 0 and his assistance to 2. I also removed him from all factions as well (with the exception of ones that I created). IsIgnoringFriendlyHits still returns true even after he starts fighting back. Anyone have ideas?

Thanks
