No problems with Skyrim PS3? What did you do (or not do)?

I am intrigued when I see people post that on their PS3 they have little to no problems with Skyrim. No lag or crashes. If you are one of those people, how did you play the game? Did you try to do all the missions? Or stick to the main quest? Did you tend to disturb a lot of things or do you walk lightly? How many in-game hours do you spend on a character? What is your level of inventory? Do you hoard items or tend to only take what you need or sell excess immediately?

My theory is that people who don't have a problem are the type that finish the main quest quickly, don't play most.all of the side quests, don't open every chest, and only inventory things they need. But I tried this theory on Fallout 3, trying to make a very light character/play through but I still ended up with lag.

I've had very little problems with my new toon and I spent an hour running around the swamp outside the abbandoned shack collecting swamp pods and deathbells

We just answered this question pretty much in the thread that was called Skyrim on PS3, Your Playstyle Tendencies. You will find some answers there.

What I find amusing is once we start to drill down with some of the users who had no issues with the game, we find :-

Yes I find Skyrim works just great for me....
What no console freezes?
Well yeah a few freezes but that's normal....
What about quest items stuck in inventory?
Well yeah I have Gallus;s Journal a flute a drum and an attunement sphere but that's ok...
Well got any broken quests or ones you can't clear?
Err one or two....
How are the missed input events with shouts and sticky controls doing?
Well yeah that happens I suppose.....
So no framerate problems at all then?
Well a bit of hitching here and there but it doesn't really bother me tbh.

The framerates are a tricky one as some people are incredibly tolerant of choppiness, most aren't.

As to the rest, you get the idea. ;)
