Problems with Weapons Mods

Post » Fri Dec 10, 2010 9:59 am

We have all been dealing with our share of bugs since New Vegas released, but the one that has been annoying me the most has to be that modded weapons don't work like they should.

So far, I've only added mods to the pre-order Weathered 10mm Pistol, the Varmint Rifle, and a 9mm Pistol. All of them after having had mods added, disappear from my characters hands and cause the screen to look white.

In addition, if I drop the offending item to look at it, it has red diamond over it( the size of a man) with a white exclamation point in the center of it.

Do any of these mods work? Which ones? Hopefully this will be fixed soon, I think my Weathered 10mm is one of my favorite guns, and would love to upgrade it without it messing up.

Lastly, I'm playing on the Xbox 360, so please keep that in mind when replying. Thanks in advance.

Hmm every mod has worked for me so far,
Sounds like iether you need to completely reinstall the game due to corrupted files,
or update your graphics drivers,
or have one of the graphics cards they are having problems with and are working on fixing.

I've read (somewhere on this forum I think?) that the bonus weapons suffer modding problems - I think this is what you're talking about.

I've had a different problem - having a modded weapon, and going to repair it. The first time you select it, and pay for the fee - nothing happens, except you lose the caps. If you click on it again, to repair it, you end up with a repaired (NPC Max ability) standard issue weapon; you just paid twice to repair your item, and you've lost all the mods. svcks, but it's there. :/
