Hope deflating. No new new stuff. All stuff for the console people. Nice stuff for PC, but hardly what I would consider an "extraordinary" announcement. You use the words for something like a new game or expansion.
Conference still isn't done yet. They'll probably save the free stuff for the end.
So far for PC people:
- If you've bought Witcher 2 anywhere, retail or Steam, etc.--starting April 17th you get a free "backup" copy from GoG. http://www.gog.com/en/page/witcherbackup
- Witcher 1: Enhanced Edition is now out for Mac
- GoG will now offer "premium versions" of newer AAA publisher games although at higher price points than their norm. First up is Ubisoft with Assassin's Creed 1 and Heroes of Might & Magic V Bundle for $19.99USD each or, for a limited time, $19.99 together if you buy both. DRM-free and includes typical GoG goodies like soundtracks, digital artbooks, etc.
- new game, Botanicula, from the makers of Machinarium and Samarost, is now up for pre-order for $8.99 IIRC. GoG's website just crashed under the weight of everyone looking for their free game, so I can't verify that.

...and Fallout 1 is now available on GoG for free for the next 48 hours. Now the conference is over.
Edit:
When is the update for the pc enhanced edition out? I have a 10 GB update paused on steam but I doubt thats it, there are some suggestions that a private test update may have been released to the public accidently, I can't be sure if this is the case though.
Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition comes out on the 17th of April, to coincide with the 360 release. Whatever update you have paused shouldn't be the official Enhanced Edition.
