Alright, we've heard how the Save System will be in The Evil Within, it's pretty much gonna be like Resident Evil 4, meaning there are Checkpoints AND Save Points.
This is necessary in order not to frustrate the modern gamer, and I accept that.
....BUT, what about us who want a challenge? People like us want the "death" in the game to have severe consequences, like the old survival horror games?
I come up with a proposition:
Pure Survival Horror Mode
What does this mode do? Well, in short: IT REMOVES THE CHECKPOINTS, WHILE MAINTAINING THE SAVE POINTS.
Not only this will offer Survival Horror fans what they want, but it will also not hamper the experience of the Modern Gamer who wants to have a safe net after dying.
Everyone's happy this way.
So yeah, Bethesda! Please do it. DO IT!
