Protagonist? : Crysis

So who is the main character in Crysis 2, because I am very confused... I have heard so many things all leading to different answers about who the protagonist is/could be. Is it this new guy 'Alcatraz' or is it Prophet? or is Alcatraz actually Prophet or is Prophet actually Alcatraz?!?! or could it actually just be Psycho? Arrrrrrrrgh!!!! :S

I don`t believe you will get the answer on your question before the game is released in March next year. The only thing I have heard is that you are playing Alcatraz in the level which get showed at E3.

I believe you will know the answer befor the relese. It's impossible to keep that a secret, but when Crytech want that it can be take till the last three weeks befor the first magazin test the game or someone woh is adapted post it in the internet.

could be any of them I guess, I am thinking a new character (probably replacing members that died on the island) But I would love to play as psycho or prophet.

Yeah, most of the people fail to meet the 60IQ or better requirement, and its more beta key spam than ever before.

Seriously, Crytek needs a quick IQ test for each IP the first time they visit. xD

It's Alcatraz as the player character, Prophet is in the game, and nomad is not confirmed for an appearance.

It's possible that "Alcatraz" is the new codename of "Nomad" ....
Crytek has said Prophet will not the main character.
ANd Psycho .... No new about him.

Crysis 2: Prophet?

Or Nomad again, because he is the character of the main story. But in the Tech Demo was only Prophet. When i bought the game for my ps3 and i am playing Psycho i will look very frightened. I still hope it's Nomad

I liked Nomad most of the characters in the story. But i don`t saying no to play as Prophet. I want some more backstory about him.

but is ure hope we will get to see either prophet, pshyco or nomad during the SP. It would be truely EPIC if one of them helped ya out from time to time.

i am 99.99% sure the player is called Alcatraz, cause in one of the trailers, you can hear a marine calling the player alcatraz, unfortnutley i can't find the video x)
but it was at the end of the marine salvage at central station, just before the player enters the vehicule
