Proudspire ManorMarriage issue

Post » Wed May 16, 2012 9:41 pm

So, today I finally purchased and decked out Proudspire Manor, the large house in Solitude, and then went and got married (to Ysolda, if that matters). The issue is, she's apparently taken to sleeping on the bedroll in the storage room full of boxes. Is there an easy fix for this, or possibly anything in an upcoming patch? I know it's a small issue, but it's annoying, and it's depriving me of my bonus and my domestic bliss.

Cant say i know any "fix" - But i married Jordis (is that her name? Housecarl in Solitude)- And we moved into the house in Solitude. She also slept in the basemant. . . . But after a while she started sleeping in the main bed, no idea what made her change. Maybe just wait and see what happens over time.

It may be random. Has anyone noticed if an NPC sleeps in the same bed each night if there are several to choose from? I remember in Oblivion, in the guild halls, NPCs just slept wherever.

I'm having that problem with Farkas. I even went into the console and locked the door to 100. it's like it was never locked. He just walked on in. So we moved back to Whitehall. He went to bed, I went to bed, slept 8 hours and no freaking bonus.

edit: I'm on pc, but I still feel your pain! I want my lover bonus thing or at least well rested.

I married the same woman, and she's never slept in the same bed as me, no matter which house I've stayed in. In fact, I've only seen her sleep 2 times. It will be three in thr morning and she'll be fiddling around at the enchanting table. I was beginning to think the bonus for having a wife was a myth...

If there is a bonus I am yet to see it.

Between 2 characters in 100 hours, I have had 1 well rested bonus.
Lovers comfort bonus does not exist.
Their cooking has no actual benefit, regardless of what the stats claim, 1 wife refuses to cook altogether.
The alleged downside of experimenting with bad blood is the loss of the well rested bonus, a bonus which does not appear to exist.
Ysolde is dressed in rags and I am not allowed to gift her new clothes.
They would rather sleep in the basemant, not that it matters as well rested and lovers comfort arent present in my copy.

So, I moved back to Whitehall, but I can barely get him to go to sleep. When I finally saw him go to bed, I tried sleeping for 8 hours and....nothing. Not one bonus of any sort. :(

Maybe it's because of Lydia and her chair dancing in my room.
