Ps3 fans are upset.

Post » Wed Aug 29, 2012 1:29 pm

Before i get into any details, i want to thank you for reading this. A while ago, Bethesda stated that a new expansion for the world of Skyrim would be coming out. Like myself, you were excited and couldnt wait. You made new charecters just in preperation for this, and started molding you're charecter around a vampire lord, or a Vampire hunter. Xbox fans played it first then PC. What about Ps3? Everybody has seem to forgoten about us ps3 fans. We always get the short end of the stick when it comes to video games. Xbox gets Kinect and pc gets mods. What does ps3 get? Early dlc? No. Better graphics? No. Time has passed and we are STILL waiting. And now Bethesda is just said and new DLC is coming out:HearthFire. Great! That looks cool. But wait, still no dawnguard? This is a slap in the face to us ps3 fans. Please, even if you arn't a ps3 fan, spread the word. This is a bunch of crap. And bethesda, if you're reading this, we're losing faith. Thank you for taking time to read this, and have a great day.-Young

Be honest, do you really want the kinect for Skyrim? Its little more than a reason for your neighbours to think you've gone insane by shouting gibbering at the TV.

And while it does indeed svck about Dawnguard for PS3, at least Bethesda's explained why. Thats the downside of having the game deveoped with a single console in mind and then ported. However I do sympathise, Dawnguard should have been fixed and released on PS3 before a new DLC was released.

I think more of the issue is, most pc's run windows, who makes windows, microsoft, who makes xbox, microsoft, then throw in a completely different operating system for the same program.. See how many bugs you get.

On the bright side, there are a whole lot of XBox and PC players still waiting for Demon's Souls... err, maybe not.

Why would they when From Software doesn't know how to properly port to the PC?

True fact the console that drew the short end of the stick was the Nintendo Wii.

The problem is that Microsoft creates both PC's and 360's.
So, fewer difficulties in porting games between the two.
I hope that they give Hearthfire priority, because I WANT IT!!!

As a former PS3 user, I too am upset.

The replay value of Heavy Rain was pretty low.

You do know that the basic PC design is closer to the PS3's than the 360?
The game was ported poorly. End of discussion. No more excuses Beth knew the design specs 7 years ago. They CHOSE not to follow them.

Yes, but wouldn't you assume there may be some programming similarities of their OS's compared to something made by a completely different company?

Yet.... although Microsoft does appear to be starting to mush everything together in a single, tablet+console friendly mess that is Windows 8.

Exactly, sacrificing the openness of Windows (which is one of its main attractive features over OSX) for the sake of an enclosed, sealed system like Apple uses. Not good for those of us who like installing whatever we like on our systems.
