Honestly, this should not be released in the first place as many people have no access to the last DLC, but besides the point, the devs better be positive this will work on the PS3 now that a release date is set. If not, I and a lot of other PS3 owners will without a doubt stop playing the game entirely. Sony must be hurting because of you, releasing it on Xbox pisses everyone off, but basically saying Dawnguard isn't coming to PS3 because you can't fix a problem? No way should that happen with this.

As a PS3 player I have somerthing to say. You will have to take Skyrim from my cold dead hands. DLC or not. Though there is a good chance I'll get it on PC since the one I'm using is starting to die on me.

How many different ways must it be said? The problem lies in the SOFTWARE not in the hardware. Every other dev company can build a game to run on PS3 just fine. BF3 is an easy example of a game that actually runs better on PS3 than Xbox. Oblivion ran just fine on PS3. Hell even FO:NV runs fine for me. My copy of Skyrim has not given me much issue either. A tweet from Hines clearly stated that some people would experience issues while others would not. How exactly does that differ from Skyrim itself? On ANY platform?

I dont necessary think that just because they are having PS3 issues that no one else should be getting content. I do think that if Bethesda can not deliver what they stated they could then they need to find someone who can code these DLCs for the PS3. Then use their own team to code for the Xbox/PC. Just from a consumer stand point not a professional one it has always seemed to me that games that were built for the PS3 to start with then ported to Xbox and PC seem to do better as a whole. The PS3 is a very powerful piece of hardware, capable of handling any game currently on the market, but the game MUST be properly coded because of the PS3's unique architecture.

Well they never said they were doing it for the PS3, so obviously never gave a PS3 release date, so no they do not need to be sure it works on the PS3. Would be nice if it did, and the PS3 players actually got to play it, but be careful when tempting fate by saying it should not be released. The Xbox 360 and PC players will get it, the PS3 players might have to wait longer or might miss out.
