PS3 possible release date?

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 4:43 am

I went to BestBuy earlier today and saw that while I was pre ordering BO2 the machine that gives the pre order receipt said DAWNGUARD for ps3 would be out on September 31. Any thoughts? Think it will be earlier?

Well looks like I won't be getting Dawnguard until after Christmas. Too many good games coming out that I will be getting, so Dawnguard can wait.

At best its an estimation by Bestbuy and not an official date.

I hope they don't screw up the PS3 version like they did with the Xbox.... There is nothing to brag about, they riddled that DLC with so many bugs, it's only worth playing after you've killed everyone and searched every nook and cranny on your character.

I *ONLY* use DG at this point just to change my appearance, and then I uninstall it again.

If the DLC is the exact same as on the 360, don't make a new character and expect to buy everything for your home in Whiterun, among a whole list of other things. lol

Thirty days hath September,
April, June, and November.
All the rest have thirty-one,
Excepting February alone,
And that has twenty-eight days clear,
And twenty-nine in each leap year.

Two things don't match together on that though, It says release date sept. 30th 2012, but then also says the cost is 60$. So it cant be directly talking about Dawnguard because its not 60$, however it also cant be directly talking about/referencing skyrim because of the release date. So it appears your info has reached a impasse with its self.

Edit- However I did notice in the top left corner of that link it does show "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim -- Dawnguard Playstation 3 -RPG- Bethesda Softworks-Reviewed on June 28, 2012" and the picture next to it shows the box/artwork of Dawnguard with the playstation symbol with "PS3 Add-on" near it. So that bit of info is convincing for me. Still the price and the date don't match up.

We might see it in september but where they get the 30th from? I'll believe it when besthesda announces it, there's no way we'll get it b4 then, it's the 23rd now and no patch yet, which we need before dawnguard.
