------------------------------------------------

It's new content for those specified platforms.

We're not getting into the specifics of what content is being released right now, but we are working on bringing content to PS3 and PC. It'll be content that's not already on those platforms.

To be clear, the tweet means there is new content for PS3 and PC users.

Mounted combat came within a title update. This is more than a title update.

No, not yet. But it is add-on content.
It has been http://www.bethblog.com/2012/08/02/dawnguard-ps3-update/ that the PS3 version will be delayed a bit as they are still working to ensure acceptable performance on the platform.

Gstaff, on 30 August 2012 - 06:52 PM, said:

Earlier in the month, we provided an update on Dawnguard's status for PS3.

It's been a few weeks, and we wanted to make sure everyone knows where we're at with Dawnguard. Skyrim is a massive and dynamic game that requires a lot of resources, and things get much more complex when you're talking about sizable content like Dawnguard. We have tried a number of things, but none of them solve the issue enough to make Dawnguard good for everyone. The PS3 is a powerful system, and we're http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1413248-ps3-release-for-dawnguard-thread-23/# to deliver the content you guys want. Dawnguard is obviously not the only DLC we’ve been working on either, so the issues of adding content get even more complicated. This is not a problem we’re positive we can solve, but we are working together with Sony to try to bring you this content.

We wish we had a more definitive answer right now. We understand the frustration when the same content is not available on all platforms. When we have an update, we will certainly let you know. We deeply appreciate all the time and support you have given us, and we’ll keep doing our best to return that.

Additional information from Pete Hines in response to Dawnguard:

"Yes, it’s just doesn’t perform well in all scenarios. Some folks would be fine, some would not.”

One of Bethesda’s top PR execs, Pete Hines, (who holds the position of VP of PR and marketing), tweeted to a question that concerned the release date, saying, “No, we will not release it if we can’t get the performance to an ‘acceptable’ standard. Our stance on this has not changed.”

According to Gstaff http://www.bethblog.com/2012/10/04/hearthfire-available-on-steam/comment-page-1/#comment-278242:

We haven’t given up. We’re still working to see what’s possible.

Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 10:15 pm:

Our team is still working to make PS3 content available on PS and doing everything possible to make it a possibility.

Thread 43!! Been a busy morning what with the announcement made.. guess we will get to thread 50 by the time 'Dragonborn' is released in "early 2013".

Still no news on whether 'Dawnguard' or 'Hearth Fire' are even coming to the PS3 though.

I was actually excited when I first read this, but then realized they didn't say anything about the previous two dlcs.

Come on Beth; It's all of them or none.

That's the big unknown, Bethesda sure aren't saying.. but, if I had too - I'd say no. Heck, I guess we'll be without crossbows too since they were included in 'Dawnguard' and we don't have that.

Rubbish. Absolute rubbish. This is total horsecrap from Bethsux. Don't eat it, folks. It may look like chicken salad, but it's chicken sh**. Everyone on here and elsewhere that is starting to look at and notice the exact verbage is on to something. Keep paying attention to this. Save and copy the things they do say. Try to find copies of the things they did say and deleted. Why do you think that many of the mod posts on here have been taken down? Why is tweet Hines and company now using the same phrases over and over? I'm the VP of Admin Services for my company, which includes managing legal issues, and what is going on is as clear as the White Phial to me: They have been coached by legal counsel to downplay past words and start using these vague assurances, to try and move us away from the promises and warranties that were made to ALL platforms on the game box, in the advertisemants, on tweets, on blogs, in forums, etc.

Beth knows that it screwed up on the PS3 port from day 1 on the vanilla game, and on the DLC front by the packaging and marketing promises and warranties. Don't anyone for a minute think that they no longer have a legal duty to the PS3 crowd. The negligence and misrepresentation is substantive, viable, and ongoing. Ask yourself why else this "cloak and dagger" silent treatment is going on. I promise you they were told that they HAD to deliver some type of DLC on PS3 or get ready for a financial and PR bloodbath. So they are doing the minimum of what they had to do: spit out a DLC that avoids the broken game issue ( maybe!) by introducing a whole new map, etc.

My educated guess is that we will never see DG or HF, and this DB satisfies their legal duty just enough to attempt to avoid a class action lawsuit. If we get DB, then they have delivered "content" to us, and they are betting that most of us will likely feel that we at least got something and will turn away from further vindication of our rights. DB is not enough. We deserve all of it, or they should make reparations to us for their failure. Do not forget this.

Wanted to give it a few before i commented on this. But i think you have something here my friend. I actually went to Tweet's feed for the first time in a bit and compared his comments to the ones GStaff is being forced to give on the bethblog, there are almost word for word. Though Tweet does have one response that wasn't scripted and he is prolly gonna get an ear full from legal for straying from book

http://twitter.com/DCDeacon so you lied about working on Dawnguard all this time, and we aren't getting it?

http://twitter.com/Music_Diaries88 No. I said it's our current focus. As in, right now. Not the only thing we've focused on.

And in grand style they leave the hypothetical door open for DG and HF if they feel like grabbing a lil more cash down the road.
