Hello, i've downloaded the new Update for Skyrim, but it doesn't work for me at all. After 30 minutes the Game gets lagging, so at my PS3 it didn't fixed anything. I've a old big PS3, with the oldest hardware but Skyrim still laggs as hell. Does someone have tips for me to fix this? Because this is a epic game and i still can't play it without lagg. Hope Bethesda can fix this on the Big PS3 too. So i want to inform Bethesda too that the Patched didn't fixed anything for the big PS3.

Yeah, I hate to say it, but prior to this patch I had some lag but nothing rendering the game unplayable. But the civil war questline is unplayable because of the lag (might have been before as well, but I just started this morning). The big battles seem to be lagging, so I'm just pushing buttons like a monkey instead of trying to direct my swings to an enemy's face.

restart ps3,go complete the civil war quest asap

Mine doesn't lag at all after the patch, I ran around for 3 hours straight, heading north to Winterhold and stopping to clear out every dungeon and cave on the way, for me it completely changed the way my game runs! Thanks Bethesda! My charachter is level 21 btw 55 hours in, saved game is around 6.5 MB.

Btw it helps to have a number of different save game slots if you are not doing this then do it at last count I have around 20 which I rotate through from start to finish, I found this helps alot with saved games becoming bloated! Secondly, make sure you ALWAYS quit to the main menu BEFORE you PS exit, this clears the games cache making the game run smoother and more reliably. People had the same issue with Oblivion and FO3 this helped them too.

Mine still lags but not near as bad as it was. I can play for 3 or 4 hours before having to reset the ps3. Still lazy Bethesda. I feel like Bethesda took a giant dump on me because I prefer Playstation to Xbox. I won't buy another xbox out of principle after having one red ring on me. I'm tired of that [censored].

Try disabling all autosave funtions from your menu and save manually instead.

Updated this afternoon, game ran smoothly. for the first 3 hours, after that it became worse than before the patch was applied. Currently doing dark brotherhood quest. While feeling like Im playing Skyrim on a windows 98 pentium 3 pc on the lowest settings. Cmmon Beth peeps! Help us out here?!
