Psijic Order...

Where do they stand with the Thalmor? I mean, I know how the Thalmor feel about Hammerfell, Skyrim, and The Empire... But what about the Psijic Order?

P.S.

My mind's been working on a DLC involving the Psijic Order in the coming Great War.

It involves:

Spoiler
A Psijic Order Traitor- One of the prime villians, steals a dangerous artifact
and many secrets in magic from the Psijic Order and aligns himself w/ the Thalmor
to help them reach their ultimate goal.

Conjured Dragons- Dragonrend doesn't work on them since they're created by magic.

3 New Shouts:

-Banish Magic: Lah(Magika) Viik(Defeat) Frul(Temporary): AOE stops all magic temporarily

-Raise Earth: Wahlaan(Raise) Bruniik(Savage) Gol(Earth) Raises earth beneath enemy's feet in form of spikes

-Kyne's Fury: Kaan(Kyne) Gaar(Unleash) Nah(Fury): AOE Nature spins around PC causing DPS to enemies in area (sort of how the leaves and such move around Spriggans, but on a scale/effect of "North Wind" from DB)

Powers:

- Summon Spriggan: The ability to summon a Spriggan(s) to your aid
- A ring/necklace that makes Spriggans friendly when you cross them/Grants you the ability to Sleep in 'Protected Groves.'
- Root Hold: Tree roots come up from the ground holding your enemies in place
- A hawk companion that adds 'Detect Life' ability last longer (perhaps have an 'on/off' ability like VL does)
- Wolves no longer hostile
- Kyne Blessed Arrows: Arrows that cause DPS by surrounding enemy in a whirlwind of leaves/earth followed by a blast of light
- Become Werebear: Perk Tree included
- Summon The Hunt of Hircine: The Ability Summon 2 "Greater Dogs" (large red spectral wolves) to your aid (Think Kodlak).
- Call Psijic Member: The ability to call upon a member of the Psijic Order to your aid

Armor/Clothing:

Armored Robes
Cloaks (clothing: only able to wear w/ Light Armor)
Capes (clothing: able to wear w/ Light/Heavy Armor)
Psijic Robes
Redguard Heavy/Light Armor variants

New Locations:

- Artaeum(Temple Only)
- Orsinium (City-State: about the size of Solitude)
- Dragonstar
- Stros M'kai
- Ranger's Hidden Grotto

Well, if the lore forum is to be believed (and it pretty much always is) than the order themselves are rather big on the idea of undoing the subgradient. That is, undoing creation. Which means they have the same general plan as the Thalmor.

However, they have a power struggle. Both sides want to be top dog. They're not friends.

Could be wrong, though. It's just what I've read. I definitely don't think they're friends, though.

interesting, may like it if it does not have ANYTHING to do with the Civil War.

Spoiler
Well, I was thinking that If you've already completed the CW, a Psijic from the Order would appear to you "inviting" you to a council w/ the Elder members of the Psijic Order. After being transported there magically, you appear before them in which they explain that time, for a member of the PO, has always been a relative thing. Past, Present, and Future are all one and the same and can be viewed by them. But recently, the future has become blurred and they don't know. They've tried many routes and only one seems to unfold a bit of the blur: The final outcome of the CW. They need you to change a significant moment in the outcome.

IF YOU JOINED THE STORMCLOAKS:

The Psijic take your consciousness to the final confrontation with Tulius and when asked if you want to kill him or if you want Ulfric to, you are given only one choice: Spare him. Ulfric not understanding at first, eventually comes around and spares Tulius telling him to take what's left of his army and never return to Skyrim. Tulius leaves for Cyrodiil.

IF YOU JOINED THE EMPIRE:

The Psijic take your consciousness to the final moment with Ulfric and when asked if you want to kill him or if you want Tulius to, you are given only one choice: Spare him. Tulius not understanding at first, eventually comes around and spares Ulfric exiling him from Skyrim never to return. Ulfric takes what's left of his Stormcloaks and leaves for Hammerfell.

(If you're currently doing the CW, A Psijic Order member will appear to you right before you're asked the choice to kill the defeated, taking you to the Temple in Artaeum.)

Who ever you defeated leaves Skyrim and eventually joins up w/ a movement to disrupt/fight the Thalmor. The movement is made up of active members of the Empire and Hammerfell in all Ranks politically and military.

Once the choice has been changed, you return to the temple and the Psijic Order explain that this is the only path that has shed any light on the future and from here, you are to discover what lies ahead. They tell you that now that you are at the temple, you are allowed to walk freely but only in the Temple. This is where you can find the Psijic Order Robes. When you are ready to leave, you find a "Named NPC" and he takes you through a set of doors. You are now outside on a set of naturally built docks. There he expresses his fears of a possible Traitor behind this mystery. He then conjures a ship to take you back to Skyrim explaining that the time it takes for you to return is imperative to the path.
