As I was going past Honninbrew a guard started shooting at me I ran over to him ready to pay a fine or bribe for whatever it was I had done. He whacked me a couple of times then said alright youve had enough sheathed his sword and walked off.

Yeah that happens some times. Why? Who knows.

If you pull out your weapons then sheath them again it should make them quit.

Vagrancy?... Maybe he was just moving you on.

It's a pretty 'clean' area around Whiterun... probably the guards have even less tolerance for the more rampant vagrants.

Nar I had a word with one of his mates and his wife has been giving him grief for gambling in the guard house so he was just in a bad mood.

Probably just a mean old guard who didn't get his milk in the morning.

I miss the corrupt guard quests from Oblivion. Especially the one where the guy gets out of prison and hunts you down no matter where you are. Being attacked by a half naked man while climbing a mountain was so hilarious.

When a Guard starts attacking me for no reason, I kill them, and don't get a bounty.. As I kind of killed all of the Guards in Whiterun, and making any guard unable to spawn..
