Published...Yes...Novelist...YES!

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 1:29 pm

I just signed the publication contract with Musa Publishing for my high fantasy/sword & sorcery novel Calasade: six & Death. This after my high fantasy/horror piece was awarded as the top flash story in Daily Frights 2012 (see my signature).

2011 ended up as a fantastic year!

See http://www.calasade.com/ to keep up to date if you're interested. I would also appreciate any feedback on the site you may have. The site might run slow a bit at times. It's been getting considerable traffic as of late.

Congratulations I guess, I aspire to be a professional writer someday in the far distant future myself  BTW you can edit your posts. If you want the quote you can press quote, copy the code and text, go back a page and edit your post and paste it in and then make your commentary on that particular quote. So if you had the last comment but you wish to discuss a point you missed before you can do that. But if someone else (like me at this point in time) has the last comment you can just make a new quote on that.

In your novella, do exceptional 11-year-olds get whisked away to a magical boarding school?
Alternatively, without betraying the content, could you rename it Calasade: six & Vampires?

I'm afraid I only read books where at least one of these two conditions is fulfilled. In other words, I don't read many books.

Good luck on it. Getting published is an AMAZING feeling. Thanks for the congrats and the great forum tips!

Then I'm afraid you will never be one of my readers. While I'm a fan of Potter, my tales are decidely more dark and...advlt. six & Death features Lilitus (my avatar, see calasade.com for more info), which share some elements with a vampire, but you could not strictly call them a vampire, so I don't think I could rename it Calasade: six & Vampires. They absolutely do not [censored] glitter.

Sorry!
