hi guys I just reinstalled skyrim cause I noticed that a lot of quests were "freezing" (like Hadvar just standing there in the store room and not continuing..etc) I noticed this afteer I installed a pretty big mod which I'm sure 100% messed the game up..

so i got ride of the saves I made after the mod and I got rid of the mod and I reinstalled...

here is my problem.... the logo is purple and the mist is now purple blocks... i had this problem when i first installed skyrim wayyyy back and SOME HOW I solved it

I can't remember how.... my drive is updated I'm SURE no textures are missing files all there, the PC (win 7) is still same with a few more updateds.... its helpful to say the game ran fine before I did the reinstall

so I'm now convinced its a ini pref problem I just don't know what to do about it

deleted the ini files but the problem stays the game even makes new ones

no idea what i did last time to make it work *sigh*

its hopeless.... just wasted 12 hours on Google and nothing works.... I think I might just let it go until I install windows again or something... shame

Verify the files in steam, it is a texture issue from what you are describing, if steam finds anything wrong it will replace the files.
