That's quite a ship, Metalbeast.
Congrats to you and Joffa too.
Can't wait to see it textured.

Looks like the lovechild between a Pryo and a stealth bomber.

And I love it! Keep it up. A massive thank you to EA for:
- Producing great quality games time and time again
- Providing excellent technical support
- Never destroying any highly acclaimed studios for profit
- Never ripping people off
- Never wasting people's time

The ship is looking good! It looks very nice. I've created a concept art of my Pyro ship: Pyro GT.
You can watch the video of Pyro ships here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EBPJdxh8kc All we need is sisu, sauna and salmiakki... Hyv? Suomi!!

I'm not using computer to draw my ships. I draw them by hand because I prefer more drawing by hand than drawing by computer. It may sound ridiculous but I really enjoy my way to create new ships! All we need is sisu, sauna and salmiakki... Hyv? Suomi!!

Me too! Actually I really enjoy to draw stuff about Descent universe (Pyro ships, Spatial works, etc. :D)

I also love to build levels, so I always enjoy to draw them before venturing into D3EDIT...

BTW MetalBeast, I liked your ship, it looks really cool :D Great work, keep 'em coming! DIVE, DIVE, DIVE, HIT YOUR BURNERS, PILOT!! (FreeSpace 2, The mission with the SF Mara fighter, Beginning...)

Okay. I'm trying to create a 3D model of "Pyro GT" by using Blender but it is too difficult for me. Could you recommend something easier software to create 3D models? All we need is sisu, sauna and salmiakki... Hyv? Suomi!!

Yes, try GMAX, there are tons of tutorials over the net.
Other easy software, if not the easiest, is "Wings 3D"

Other free and worth trying: caligari truespace 3.2, XSI Mod tool, Milkshape (shareware) >>> My 3D Modelling Site <<<

Pretty sweet, my only request is that you make the cockpit more square, like the classic D1/D2 Pyro GX.

Otherwise, great job! I like how it looks like a Pyro and a feasible fighter at the same time.

Ooh, a transparent cockpit with a man inside! Nice touch.

Are those lasers or vauss on the wings? The inner two look like vauss and the outer two look like lasers. A massive thank you to EA for:
- Producing great quality games time and time again
- Providing excellent technical support
- Never destroying any highly acclaimed studios for profit
- Never ripping people off

Beauties! Wow! These ships should be in D4.

I always thought the "WipeOut" series had a nice sense of futuristic style, even though the games were worthless.

Oh, damn. Beautiful ship, but my pictures have a little more resentful look than this. My Pyro has ia these equipment: QuadLight, HeXaLaser (since facelift), 4 afterburners (top speed 5,5 Mach! ), QMDS (Quad Mass Driver System) and a user interface called iFyr with a effective radar system. All we need is sisu, sauna and salmiakki... Hyv? Suomi!!
