quest arrow not appearing in compass T_T

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 1:51 pm

For some reason, when i make a quest in the creation kit and start it, the quest marker does not appear in the compass. The quest arrow appears for all the other quest's (that have a quest arrow to begin with), except the ones I create.

Can somebody help me?

You have to make the object/person you want the marker to point to a Quest Alias. I suggest watching the Creation Kit quest video tutorials on youtube to learn about things like that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=It5ZzjamtMk

Be aware that it might not appear because of some bug introduced in one of the patches, and not because you did something wrong. Sometimes quest arrows just vanishes to later suddenly reappear (if you're lucky).

There is nothing more to say really. Sometimes the quest arrow doesn't seem to work as intended, but I have no idea what sets it off.

I have the same issue like Freddo mentions. My quest markers are also teasing me, and now only one marker wont show up, but sadly its the most important one. The one that telsl the player where to go :P

As I posted in another thread similar to this:

It’s also worth noting that if you are testing with a save made AFTER your quest has already started, and you’re looking for aliases you added to your quest after you already saved this game, they will not fill. Be sure you’re testing from a save that did NOT have your quest loaded.
