I posted this on the hardware/software forum, but since it's quest related I thought I would post here just in case someone is experiencing the same thing.





This has got to be the most frustrating issue yet. After all the crashes, loss of saves, and over all bugs... Now my quest marker is completely unreliable.

In the middle of a quest in freeside offered at the atomic wrangler, my quest marker/waypoint on compass broke. I am supposed to hire someone yet when I follow the waypoint to a door, and enter the door, the waypoint now tells me to go outside again. Putting me stuck in this neverending loop. I try to go back to the NPC that gave me the quest... He offers no help. Now I can't turn in the other person I have found for him either. The dialogue is broken, the waypoint is broken, the quest is broken.

After wasting an hour on that questline, I chalk that off and decide to play on. I start another quest line and lo and behold, same issue. The waypoint/quest marker has me going in circles. Enter this door, now exit this door... enter, exit, enter, exit.

At this point I'm running out of quests I can get stuck on. I'm affraid to do anything with my main storyline in fear of being stuck in limbo on a primary objective.
