Question about changing combat style

Post » Thu Nov 08, 2012 10:58 pm

Hello guys,

Quick question :

My dragonborn warrior is lvl 32, I use an enchanted +21 fire dmg ebony axe and Ysgramor's shield in combat.

Ive put points in block and onehand.

My one hand skill is 86.

But I want to switch to 2 handed combat because Im bored of sword and board so I want to wield a double hand weapon.

Now, do you think ill do fine using Volendrung and starting putting perks in 2 hand (I have no points in that tree) ?

My 2 hand skill is 26

Thanks

have you considered 1h dual wield? it's a lot of fun and you need only a few more perk.

if you really wnat to go for 2h, it should not be much of a problem tough, as long as you have some perks left; imo barbarian, champion's stance and devastating blow are the only ones you really need - so 7 perks.

I have no perks on 2 hand yet.

As to duel wielding, I would do it but the fighting moves and animations are the same as my assassin duel wielding daggers.

You only need to Perk up one branch of the 3 in 2 Handed if your going to use Swords. The swords increased damage will help offset the lower skill until you can bring it around. Your character is low enough in level that it can grow a 2H skill.

Just keep a good short sword around in case you come across a stronger enemy. Hotkey it so you can switch out fast as needed.
