A question about "Clean Hands"

Post » Sun Oct 14, 2012 9:59 pm

I have just started my first Dishonored playthrough. I'm aiming to get Ghost, Shadow, Mostly Flesh and Steal, Clean Hands and a few other trophies.

What I was wondering was about Clean Hands. I was walking through the first sewer and these two guards were devoured by rats, I wasn't able to prevent them from getting attacked and I did not cause it so I was wondering if it would affect my trophy? Both doors were locked so it was impossible for me to get into the gate at all. And because I'm trying not to get detected or kill anything I did not pull out my weapon and try to attack those rats.

Is there anyway to prevent them dying? Or does it not count and I'm safe to let them die? Also, does it happen again in the game and is it alright if they die by rats if it is not my cause?

And one more question, after choking enemies where is a good place to put them? In the first stage at the prison I tried to lay the enemies on desks or objects above the ground or I would lay them on the ground and close the doors in hopes that the rats won't get them. I'm afraid the unconcious enemies are going to die (especially by rats) and I would hate to have to start again to get these trophies.

Thanks for the help. (I wish the console versions got a quick save function, It would make saving a lot easier hehe. I have been saving like every couple of minutes in case I stuff it up and I'm afraid I already have.

Thanks again.

Those two guards don't affect the acheivment.

As for hiding unconscious guards, I just put mine mostly in dark corners. I acquired ghost and clean hands w/o issue.

I AM a little worried about the overseer mission, though. I THINK I did ok, and used trash bins when I could. In some alley ways, I tried tossing the bodies on top of crates, etc. Still not finished so don't know yet how I've done.

Thanks for the reply. Also for "Mostly Flesh and Steal" am I allowed to use Runes or upgrade weapons? I was thinking I'd upgrade my crossbow with the sleep darts in the future with a few mask upgrades and maybe use runes too. But I don't know if they would prevent me from getting the achievement.

Equipment can be upgraded, but only bone charms can be used, not runes. Otherwise it wouldn't be "mostly flesh and steel", it would be like any other playthrough.

Thank you. I will now go to sleep and get up and continue my playthrough. I just hope no bodies get eaten by rats.
