Question About Collectors Addition.

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 1:17 pm

So guys, I've been on the fence about forking out the extra 30 quid for the Collectors edition of the game and the reason is pretty much the poker chips. Now, I'm a massive fan of Fallout and also a massive fan of poker, so the idea of a mini poker set along with the game is fantastic. My only concern is about the number of chips included.

Does anyone know how chips many are included?
What colours are present?

By looking at the collectors package image I can see there's a stack of about 4 chips of different colour but I just wanted to know if that's ALL there is? I mean, the main reason I would purchase the set is for the chips but would it be worth it for just the four? I've spent ages reading articles but so far I haven't found anything that's clear to the number of chips included.

If anyone has any information about the collectors edition it would be much appreciated. Cheers.

As far as I knew, there was gonna be a chip for each of the casinos in the Mojave wasteland.
There are 9 casinos on the wiki, but something is making me remember 7 being the number of chips... I could be wrong, though.

So is that just one chip per casino? Hardly seems worth it in the long run... I was kind of looking forward to playing with them.

One chip for each of the 'Major' casinos. According to the current available information, there will be 7 chips, plus a larger Lucky 38 Platinum chip I believe. Unless that's counted as one of the 7 chips. You're not going to get a full set of chips to use if that's what you were hoping for. But that would be pretty neat if that was available.

Actually if you look at this http://static.gamesas.com/blog/fnv_collector_edition-generic.jpg closely, there are 7 individual chips, plus the larger Lucky 38 chip.

iv been saving up loyalty card points in GAME to get the collectors edition. at the moment iv got enough to save me £35 on it.

id say go looking through you game collection and see if theres any you want to trade in. last time i traded in some games i was £50 richer.

A right, cheers Bulwark, that is what I was looking for...

Slightly disappointing but I suppose to ship a game with a full poker set and graphic novel would be a bit of a nightmare. I'll still consider it, thanks for the info!
