I got a message today from the Messenger Team saying that they're upgrading all Messenger customers to Skype. It looks as if they're completely shutting down Messenger and converting to Skype. I'm just wondering, does this mean Hotmail as well, or can I keep my e-mail?

I have Hotmail, and they are also upgrading that. I've seen nothing to say it was going away, and I plan to keep using it.

Hotmail's staying (although will be updated), they're just retiring MSN/Windows Live Messenger for all regions except China.

Alright, good. I saw a thread here months ago saying that Hotmail will be going down, and I though this was it.
