I don't think you have to. If you want a replacer, having it as a loose file should make it automatically replace it. Make sure it has the same folder structure as it did in the .bsa. I'm no expert in this (I'm a scripter) but this should work. If I'm wrong someone correct me.

really? I am not sure about the path of my modified file.
What I did is:
1) Extract a monster skeleton nif file to my "desktop" and the file name is "skeleton"
2) After I modified it, I save it as a new file and put it on my desktop.

Then, what should I do next? How do I check this new one has the same folder structure? I wanna replace this new one to old one.

Thank you for replying!

If the file was the skeleton it would be:
Meshes\Actors\\Character Assets\Skeleton.nif

Give me the name of the monster, as I have the whole Meshes.bsa extracted with all the folders, etc.

My monster name is "dwarvensteamcenturion"
but the problem is now I have my nif file name "skeleton", saved on my destop
How can I put it in, like Meshes\Actors\dwarvensteamcenturion\CharacterAssets\Skeleton.nif

Just make a new folder called Meshes. Then make a new folder in that called "Actors". Then make a new folder in that called "dwarvensteamcenturion". Make another called "character assets" (it has a space). Then add the Skeleton.nif in it. Then just drag and drop them in the Skyrim\Data folder.

It should look like this:

 meshes\actors\dwarvensteamcenturion\character assets

Yes that's all you do. Post back your results so I can make sure I was right.

Nice! It works! Another little question.
When I pack up my bsa file and esp and want to sent those to my player, what should I do with this nif file? Or it will automatically save in bsa file for me?

You don't have to make a .bsa. These kinds of files are called "loose files". These files don't need to be packed into a .bsa. I don't know anyone who makes their own .bsa's actually. If you want to send the .nif to people, just give them the folder you made, with the skeleton in the right spot.
