So I have a very powerful laptop I want to run Skyrim on. It handles the base game just fine. it's specs are almost as good as my desktop. None of this is my issue.

My issue is that I've spent hours making sure the mod install on both machines match. Same mods, all cleaned, same load order. I've double checked and triple checked to be sure that everything matches.

And yet for some reason, if I load a save made on the other computer via Steam Cloud, I *always* get the Missing Content warning. I'm completely at a loss.

Why don't I just copy my desktop install to my laptop? Because my laptop's graphics card doesn't have the 2GB of memory my desktop does, so I tend to use 2048 (or 1024) level texture replacers, as opposed to the full 4096 ones my desktop can handle.
