Does the strategy guide include information like this?

I'm planning on getting the guide, but only if it includes information like in the above link.

Yes, the strategy guide goes into detail on a lot of things. I'd alomost be lost without it, not because I use to to give me all the answers in quests (I dont) but if I get stuck I look at the guide. If I get confused about something, look at the guide. If I do not want to waste all my ingredients trying to blindly make a good potion, I look at the alchemy recipes in the guide.

The guide is worth the price. I just took back some of my old PS3 games to gamestop and with the credit I got from them ripping me off, I got the guide. I would have never played them again anyway.

Thanks so much for answering my question! I'm new to TES and I was specifically wondering if the guide would allow me to look up info/description of what the Imperial Legion is and what Stormcloaks are. Will I be able to do that? I'm guessing from your answer, that it is a yes...

I havent read all the guide, and do not have it in front of me, im @ Starbucks doing some work because if I were home I'd want to play Skyrim, lol. But they believe they do give a vague description of all the factions.
