Question about the 3 factions and the power they will have

Post » Tue Jun 26, 2012 11:06 pm

Well guys, after i've "swallowed" this of not been able to play with the imperials (my favorite race along with the nords), i've come to think, will the factions borders be permanent (the daggerfall covenant always have the same territory and never expand into their enemies territory beyond The imperial throne for example)? would be amazing if one faction could conquer the others fortress and cities, but i don't know if this will happen because they said that the pvp will be in Cyrodill, and if it's just there, the factions will be static and that svcks, i mean, what will be the point of this great total war if one faction due do hard work and team play can never raise above the others beyond the imperial throne, like, consolidate their new empire?

i've never played DAOC so i don't know how it work in that game, do we already know something about this?

/ps: sorry for my english, i'm brazilian :3

The details are still up in the air, but I think it's safe to say all the major cross-faction conflicts will take place in Cyrodiil.

There's always the option of playing a Breton, Redguard, or Nord and roleplaying as a neutral Imperial, though be ready for a lot of factionalism and in-character abuse. That is, of course, the soul of such a character in such a setting.

Basically, each faction will have their own territories... So for the Ebonheart Pact, you'll have areas of Skyrim, Morrowind, and Black Marsh available to you. No one will be able to touch these areas.... Cyrodiil, on the other hand, EVERYONE will have access to, and that's where the battles will go down. People will battle for Farms, Mines, Keeps/Castles, and The Imperial City. The more places your faction controls in Cyrodiil, the more powerful your entire faction becomes (literally, you'll get some bonuses to your character, based on how many places your faction controls). So, basically, the goal would be to conquer all of Cyrodiil. You can't go into Aldmeri or Daggerfall zones, as a member of the Ebonheart Pact, but you CAN take away Aldmeri and Daggerfall keeps in Cyrodiil.
